Officer who shot Michael Brown is on paid leave

The officer who shot dead an unarmed African-American teenager in the U-S state of Missouri has been on paid administrative leave since the fatal shooting of the teenager.

Darren Wilson has not even been arrested or charged with the crime. A grand jury is set to convene to determine if he will be charged. Wilson is reportedly claiming that Brown ran toward him before the fatal shots were fired. Witnesses say Brown was surrendering with his hands up as Wilson shot him.

A private autopsy commission by the Brown family determined that he was hit with at least six bullets, two in the head and four on the right arm.
