The Debate - US Police Brutality (P.1 &2 ) (12.13.2014)

PART 1

PART 2

Thousands of people converge on the US capital, Washington, to demand justice for black men who have killed by white police officers. Similar protests are expected in New York and elsewhere, the latest in weeks of demonstrations across the US against police brutality against racial minorities. At a time of heightened tensions over the race issue, specifically African-Americans, in this edition of the Debate we'll ask if such marches will be enough to get Washington's politicians moving on the issue of an unjust system, seemingly stacked against African Americans. Why does 6 decades after the African-American Civil Rights Movement which sought to end racial discrimination against black Americans, the goal remain farfetched in the eyes of many Americans?
